Wild Rice Hamburgers
(BBQ recipe)
1 lb lean ground beef
1 can or 2 cups cooked wild rice
1 egg
2 cloves minced or crushed garlic
1/2 lb bacon (optional)
Shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Mix the above ingredients together well and form into 4 or 5 patties.
- Cook bacon on BBQ (or in advance) until cooked but not crispy.
- Cook patties on the BBQ until half done.
- Place some bacon on top of each burger.
- Continue cooking burger patties until done.
- Just before cooked, cheddar may apply on top of each burger until melted.
- Serve on a bun with your favorite hamburger toppings.
