Mr. Chan's Favourite Recipe

Canadian Pure Wild Rice or Wild Rice mixed with Brown Rice.    1 bag of 340 g.
Green Beans
Yellow Corns
Red Carrots
Red Bell Pepper  =     1/2 of a piece.
Sweet Onion
Dried Cranberry
Ginger, chopped in small pieces = 1 spoonful
Garlic, chopped in small pieces = 2 pieces
Sugar, brown sugar =  1 spoonful  or 1/2 small bag of sweeten
Salt = 1/2 spoonful
Butter = 20 gram.
Black pepper = 1/2 spoonful

  1. Put the pure wild rice into the rice cooker, then add 2 cups of water in.  When the water is full boil, turn the key to keep warm for one hour.  After one hour or a little more in time, put the Sugar + Salt + Chicken Broth into it and start cooking again until the water dried up.    Heat up the wok and put butter + Ginger + Garlic in.  When the butter is melted, turn the Ginger + Garlic for just few seconds, then put the cooked rice and the rest of the other items into the wok and fry it for few seconds.  Ready to serve.
  2. For preparing Wild Rice + Brown Rice need not switch off the boiling key to keep warm, just following the cooking instruction as printed on the plastic bag.  You must do the same way by adding the Sugar + Salt + Chicken Broth in when start cooking.  This method of cooking is to ensure the favor of evenly attached to every single piece of rice.
  3. 1/3 spoonful of chicken broth is good enough to bring up the favor and you are sure that you don't get thirsty even though you eat a lot.
